I recently took a trip back to the UK to visit family and friends. It was great to catch up with everyone again, but it also reiterates how much I miss them all 😦
From a photography point of view I didn’t get chance to do much, which at times was a little frustrating, watching beautiful countryside pass me by as I drove from one destination to another. In hindsight it was actually a good thing as I’ve got so many photos to sort through, I’m getting seriously behind.
I did however have a play with my camera on the ferry crossing from Dublin, Ireland to Holyhead, UK. It was an early morning trip over the Irish Sea and amazingly calm (which is definitely not the norm for this stretch of water), I was in awe of the rapidly changing light as the sun competed with the clouds and reflected in the water.
Cloud watching is so relaxing and I could sit all day and just admire the atmosphere doing it’s thing. I love the fact that some changes may be very subtle but can make a huge difference to the display in front of you.
